LS Cable & Government of Vietnam: Joint development of power Infrastructure!

The Vietnamese government plans to expand its offshore wind power capacity through a review and new nuclear power plants to increase the country’s power generation capacity to 150 gigawatts (GW) by 2030.

LS Eco Energy, a subsidiary of LS Cable & System Limited, has announced plans to expand its power infrastructure business through a partnership with Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Vietnamese government plans to increase the country’s power generation capacity to 150 gigawatts (GW) by 2030. Plans to expand its offshore wind capacity and build new nuclear power plants are currently under review.
With the construction of the new nuclear power plant, LS Eco Energy is expected to get a multi-billion won power network construction project opportunity.
As a leading cable company in Vietnam and one of the few companies with ultra-high voltage (UHV) cable production facilities, LS is expected to play a key role in expanding Vietnam’s power infrastructure.
